Like leopard, ikat is a pattern that is truly timeless. I have Ikat pillows, an Ikat ottomon, and even a club chair upholstered in Ikat. That's how much I love it! But while my Ikat is a bit more simplistic when it comes to my home, I really like a spicier Ikat in my wardrobe. Luckily, La Fee Verte -- as always -- doesn't disappoint. Adam Sakara, the designer for the brand, really gets the modern girl and how she wants to dress. At home, the LFV woman is bold and sophisticated. She has fun and wants to look and feel glamorous. I honestly feel, when I slip on this beautiful blue teddy, as if I have arrived. Even if arriving means that I'm hanging out on Saturday night wiht my husband whose making martinins just for the two of us!
By the way, the fit on the LFV pieces are fairly true to size for rompers. The short is a nice length and the fabric is not sheer. That all means, to me, that I can wear this in front of my kid in the house. Mind you, she's still under a year -- so use your own guideline!
